Medical Director, Medical Affairs, Primary Care & Specialty Bus. Unit
MAJOR PHARMACEUTICAL COMPANY
Provide direction and medical leadership in the areas of medical and clinical development for Aricept. Help build key relationships with customers, KOLs, and advocacy groups. Manage the scientific platform both strategically and tactically. Optimize the asset through new scientific data, meta-analyses, and communication. Utilize expert medical/scientific knowledge to provide input into brand strategies and life cycle management.
Requirements:
Advanced degree, M.D or PhD with 4-6 years of relevant industry experience
Must possess strong management/leadership skills working in a matrix organization
Experience and sound knowledge in conducting clinical trials (Phase lllb-lV), medical knowledge/expertise in multiple therapeutic areas
Knowledge of FDA regulations/guidelines is a plus
Must have requisite skills to function in a complex and dynamic environment, including flexibility to negotiate
Scientific and product knowledge
Broad knowledge of drug development process; FDA guidelines regarding the promotion of marketed products, other guidelines include publications (ICMJE) and CME (ACCME)
Ability to travel
Location: NORTHERN, NJ
